Before Your Appointment
Is there a fee or an obligation to enroll?
No. Benjamin does not charge beneficiaries a consultation or enrollment fee for the insurance plans he represents. You can keep your current coverage. The insurance company may compensate the brokerage if you enroll through it.
Are appointments by phone, video or in person?
The calendar reserves a phone consultation. Contact Benjamin to arrange video. In-person appointments in Springfield or the Houston/Texas County area are considered only when special circumstances make a phone consultation impossible. Confirm the arrangements before traveling.
Do I need my Medicare card to book?
No. You can schedule before your card arrives. If you already have Medicare, keep your effective dates and current plan information available for the conversation. Do not put Medicare or Social Security numbers in the public form.
How do I reschedule or cancel?

What is a Scope of Appointment?
It records the types of plans you agree to discuss. It is not an enrollment form and does not require you to change coverage. Ask Benjamin which appointment paperwork is needed before a plan-specific discussion. Read Medicare’s rules for meeting with an agent.
